Questions
§ 06How is a small provider so cheap?
We run on retired servers we saved from the landfill. The hardware is already paid for, so your money goes to keeping your server running, not to a data center's markup. Cheaper for you, and better for the planet.
Why not a free host?
Free hosts keep costs down by putting servers to sleep when nobody is on, capping how long they can run each day, or making you wait in a queue to start. That's fine for testing with a few friends. A community needs a server that's up whenever members log in, a world that's backed up every night, and someone to call when something breaks.
Can you move our server?
As much or as little as you want. We can move everything for you: world, plugins and settings. Or you can do it yourself through the panel or SFTP and just call us if you get stuck.
Who can I talk to for help?
A real person, every time. No AI chatbot, no script to get past. Message us in Discord and you're talking to the people who actually run your server.
What do I have to do?
Just run your community. We'll try to be as helpful as possible with anything to do with your server, but we can't moderate what happens in game. Rules, bans and player disputes stay with your community's staff. We'll give them the tools: permissions, logs, and backups to roll back griefing.
How does billing work?
